Mahila Mitra, meaning “Friend of Women,” isn’t just a charitable trust; it’s a beacon of hope and opportunity for women across communities. They understand that empowering women isn’t just about handouts, but about equipping them with the tools and skills to build their own futures.
What We Do
- Tailoring class, umbrella making class, fabric painting class, soap and detergent making class for women to empower them to start their own small unit.
- Training for women to start small units. Which will earn them a living and mentoring such women and groups.
- Support to women entrepreneurs to start small businesses.
- Has organised 4 tailoring units for women and mentoring it.
- Support to transgenders to start kiosks and small scale units.
