About Mitra Udayam
The aim of the project proposed is to rehabilitate such young widows and abandoned women with young children accross kerala. Provide them employment facility through small scale employment units which will enable the ladies housed to work and earn a decent income and live in a secured gated compound. Part of the income thus earned by the women inmates will be used to run day to day operations of the home and remaining will be from our funds. The employment in samll scale units ie., mitra udayam will be benificial to the entire peruva panchayath.
Children will be sent to nearby schools and their education will be taken care of by the trust. Once the mother earns enough, we intend to settle them by buying them a piece of land and building an abode for them under pradhan mantri awaz yojana scheme.
What We Do
